Pollinating Honeybee

By watching bees’ habits in the fields, we can all learn how to be healthy, happy, environmentally healthy, and conscious. -Sumit Mahajan

Bieng nature, watching the birds and bees, hearing the sounds of nature is no less than meditation. It is meditation with open eyes; nature meditation.

Just like apple picking or raspberry picking events at the farms, I want to introduce you to the term- Bee Watching. By watching bees around the hive and in the fields, I believe we can all learn a great lesson about being healthy, happy, and environmentally conscious.

Bees’ lesson on being Healthy

Bees love the diversity in their foods. They visit thousands and thousands of flowers to get the nectar from them. And eventually, they convert this nectar to honey (There is an extensive process here), but the bottom line is that bees love the diversity in their food, and maybe we all need to learn from them and have a diverse selection of foods in our diet.

Another thing to notice here is that the foods that bees go for are super healthy for us if we consume them. For example, bees love a crop of buckwheat; it’s a treat for them. They can make tons of honey if they have a giant field of buckwheat, and the honey produced by those bees is super medicinal and good for us all. I encourage you all to try that honey at our shop. I am sure you all will absolutely will love it.

Bees’ lesson on being Happy

Bees (let us only consider female bees) believe in having a purpose in life (no bullshitting). From the day they are born to the day they die, they are up to something (a purpose). In their life span, they have several responsibilities. Let us look at one: gathering nectar from the flowers. Female bees visit thousands of flowers to get nectar for their hive (family), which they bring to the hive, dry, and when it is ready, cap it.

They do all this hard work, but they will not be able to enjoy the harvest because they will probably be dead by the end of the season, and all the harvest will be used by the hibernating baby bees and queen bees to survive the winter.

The lesson here is to have a purpose in life and live with it. I wonder what kind of society we will be if we all find a purpose in life and live every day to do our best to fulfill our purpose. I don’t see the place for depression, anxiety, and many other words like these.

Bees’ lesson on being Conscious

I think the only way to get conscious is to see what is happening around us in action. Unless we do not have a great realization, we will not be environmentally conscious. I got my moment when I started raising bees. Maybe you will get yours by Bee Watching (New meditation).

Bee is dying at an alarming rate, and their role in keeping the delicate balance in our ecosystem is paramount. I will not lecture you here on all the issues, but if you have read this article until now, I am sure you are interested to know more.

I can confidently say that if you come to know about all the issues, you will be environmentally conscious, and you may make your efforts to make the change. To learn more, visit us or read more about bees, and you will discover something extraordinary.
