Dr. Queen Bee, as a company, plans to create an ecosystem so that our bees have enough flora to feed on. In doing so we have a plan to plant thousands and thousands of bee-friendly trees and plants. And the fun part is, these plants and trees usually bloom to give food for us humans too. So, in our simple act of creating habitat for our bees, we are creating habitat for our communities too which will result in a fight and someday end malnutrition.
It is because of the bad agriculture practices and the exponential rise in population which results in deforestation and habitat loss for the bees that is causing colony collapse disorder in bees. I want to be very clear that by all our endeavors we are not doing any favor to the bees. In fact, it is because of us, humans, that the bees are in such grave condition. And it is the bees who do a big favor to us. It is because of bees that we have nearly 70% of the food we eat as bees pollinate the flowers which result in the food we eat.
We, at Dr. Queen bee, want to take responsibility to repair the damage we have done until now. We are collaborating with a number of farmers and encouraging them to keep bees at their farms, we have planted and are still planting bee-friendly trees in our communities, we are bringing products inspired by the honeybees to the market.
